The technical vision module analyzes product appearance directly on the production line. It works with a camera, recognition algorithms and a pre-trained recipe. Inspection runs in real time without operator involvement.
The system can determine the position of caps, dispensers and seals; check that a cap is not loose, shifted or skewed; assess liquid level in transparent containers; count objects in a package, such as tablets in a blister; detect deformation, dents and broken elements; and compare product shape with a reference by dimensions, proportions, height and symmetry.
Checks are configured through a visual interface, without writing code or editing configuration files. The setup process uses sample images from the line, including acceptable and defective products. The adjuster marks the control zones and deviations, and the system creates a recipe file.
When the recipe is loaded into the marking or aggregation program, each product is compared with the reference model. Products within tolerance pass further, and products with deviations are sent to rejection.
Recipes can be created for different products, package types and tasks. When production changes, the operator selects the required file and the inspection continues with new parameters.
The vision system is integrated into the IDCode platform, so quality control, rejection, aggregation and printing work together in one process.
